Transformers 2 will suck and you’re an idiot if you think otherwise.

Transformers 2 opens tomorrow, but balls to paying to see that rubbish just so I can review it for you.

Here’s my review of Micheal Bay’s first Transformers movie. I can’t imagine this film is going to be any different, since it’s still got the same idiot writers and the same terrible director. So if you enjoy terrible dialogue, poorly shot actions sequences, lots of uninteresting throwaway human characters, racism, over the top American Jingoism, no character development, blatant product placement, terrible Transformer designs, and have an unhealthy obsessions with Megan Fox, then you should go and see it.

totally agree, as a non american, i saw right through the blatent attmept by Bay to use patriotism to mask the fact the movie is bad.
USA this, USA that. half the movie was just shots of US planes, ships and helicopters.

  2. Ed says:

It was a good movie, the second one will be good too. I take offence at being called an idiot for enjoying a bit of mindless cinema now and again.

Neither of them are schindlers list but then they don’t set out to be either. I think in this day and age most people realise some action movies, specifically those that are remakes of cartoons, comic book adaptions etc are partially filmed as an advert for the merchandise that follows the movie.

No transformers movie will be the same as the original cartoons, what would be the point, and yeah they are capitilsing on a brand but who cares – really?! There are other movies that we can go see for more involved story lines and characters that you care for.

Part of the problem is….die hard fans of the original expecting too much and then feeling let down.

If you wanna see giant transforming robots fighting and have a few laughs at the gags, then transformers is a good film for all the family.

I’m one of those dummies that enjoyed the first movie and will probably enjoy the next one too. I dont go to theaters often, but when I do, I’d like to sit there and watch things blow up while I eat a very expensive bag of popcorn and sugared drink.

I liked Bill and Teds excellent adventure movies, but I draw the line at the latest series of Stupid Movies.

Leave some feedback.
